" Bush Pig" comes from the "Bush" meaning where trees come from and "Pig" is from the 60's style of surfboard with the wide point behind centre and plenty of volume to help catch waves.
The photo is of Bush Pigs No.1 and No.2. The original I shaped in foam to test the shape and a few fins for the Woodies to follow.The Woodie is an exact copy but with a frame and external skins of Paulownia.I built it heavier than the foam board to smooth out the glide.
