These new Pineapple shaped ukes are fast becoming my favourites.The Concert scale length on a Soprano size body seems to be a very good mix. The more they settle in and their sound opens up the better they are becoming.The DiAddario strings are a great match and have a lovely soft action so not too hard on your fingers.
I have finished off my Cairns Workshop uke a bit behind the students and will keep this one for myself. It is good to have them around as they develop their sound and you can check how the design evolves.Most ukes are built and sold so it isn’t often that you get to play them again.
